The Centre for Defence Acquisition and Technology (CDAT) is a component within the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom and is the MOD’s lead organisation for the development and delivery of high quality education, research and training in the technology, information capability, business skills and acquisition fields.

The Centre aims to enhance the ability of all staff involved in the day to day delivery of Defence objectives by giving them the necessary vocabulary, tools and techniques to be able to operate more effectively and to enhance the delivery of defence capability.

Our Acquisition Training Team provide a range of on-line and classroom based courses which cover the full capability lifecycle from requirements generation through procurement and in-service support to disposal, based on the through life approach. We incorporate the latest in communication and delivery techniques enabling students to achieve their full potential.
