Our courses are aimed at MoD civilian and military personnel working within acquisition and also, the wider acquisition community, including the Defence Industry, other Government Departments, Trading Fund Agencies, NATO and other Nations.  How to Apply for a Course
Register

First you will need to register with us by clicking the Register link in the login section of the homepage. Once registered, you will be able to login and access the full range of features and resources in the site.

Apply

To begin an application for a course, select Apply for a Course from the Courses menu. The full range of available courses is displayed in a drop-down list, from which you can select the course you wish to apply for. Providing that you are eligible to apply for the selected course, you can continue through the application process.

Start

Internal MOD learners are able to begin courses straight away, providing the course does not require authorisation from the course manager.

Please Note

If you are not eligible to apply for the selected course, all necessary pre-requisites will be listed and those that you have not yet attained will be marked with a red cross. You should apply for and complete these courses first. For some courses, there may be the opportunity to request exemption from a pre-requisite course on the basis of equivalent previous study or experience.

If you would like to get more of a flavour of our on-line courses you might like to take a look at the eLearning Walk Through. This steps you through a typical course including registration and application, accessing the course components, right through to completing the end of course test.

In addition, once registered you can apply for the Taster Course, which allows you to take a pre-test, complete a single topic within a course and complete the end of course test. The Taster Course gives you an opportunity to experience the eLearning first hand.
